The ut website says shark attack, and the victim died off Fletcher Cove in Solana Beach. Sad Story.

Get ready for the media sensationalism.

Very sad.

My biggest client is right by the Fletcher Cove in Solana...

This year, there's a beautiful healthy kelp right off the cove... I kept eying it...

The other day I saw a sportie anchored by the kelp.

Very sad, my bet is gws, I was there, very sad. I guess this group swims there every fri at 6:30... I was about to surf when I saw the guards rushing the beach... beach breaks looked fun, so I paddled anyways, felt pretty sharky.

The shark risk is always there, Its very sad it happend to such a nice person. I still feel safer in the water than on the freeway, and if you would like to try one of my homemade omelets I will serve it up ranchero style if you like.

Thank you to the lifeguards who helped, it was a day they will remember.
