Meets

So I usually kayak fish freshwater and I have been wanting to try the ocean ... Is there any meets ? I'm in Santa Clarita

not really but other then a few small tournaments. People do post invites to hit the water but typically no one takes the invite or there is one or two guys that show up.

You don't need no stinking guide.... well it may cut a learning curve but stilll... there is fun in the chase too.

Know your limits. Start in a harbor venture out . Venture back in. Keep doing that testing your limits. You will find friends unless you pull a lot of this crap....

Hey CJ,

No guide service needed. I'm sure someone on the boards would be kind enough to let you tag along for a harbor day outing... hint offer beer.

I might be able to also depending on you current comfort with a kayak. The only thing is, I don't fish harbors. So if you roll with me, I'll walk you though everything but I wouldn't bring your too much gear. Keep it simple, there always a chance you might take a short swim.

P.S I will be going out this Sunday with a friend or two. But you have to have a kayak cart for this spot.

I'll take U out & show U the ropes. Just need to let me know what Ur floating on & how comfortable U R in open water. & were U live so I can plan on what area to take U. U can also join our FB group & here we also post when & where we will B fishing. Raskal311 don't U agree?
