Mission bay rules?
Looks like I'll be spending the day there this weekend on Sunday.
Trying to findout as much info as I can about the rules of the bay before I go. So far they seem pretty laxed. Can I anchor up? Cleanest bathrooms? Wash down centers or Showers? Are the bad currents in the bay? This will be my 2nd time out on the water, I'll be staying in the bay's

No I'm not...I'm not from that area. I used the search on the forums.... What I found on the Web were a few non detailed maps... Just stated not to enter swims areas and not too speed. And not enter a government island on the east side of the bay. Just trying to pick up as much info as I can before heading out this weekend. I found alot of info on launch sites but not much else.

Mission bay is kind of like a saltwater lake, it's usually very calm, sometimes the tide can move pretty good but nothing to bad. I've used an anchor in the bay so yes you can do it. Dana landing probably has the best bathrooms in the area, not too sure about the other locations.

Can I anchor up? yes, avoid high traffic and high speed areas
Cleanest bathrooms? park bathrooms are ok, for number 2 I use the resorts Wash down centers or Showers? never used a wash down, most park restrooms have outdoor showers to rinse off Are the bad currents in the bay? it moves fastest in narrow places like under the bridges and marina entrances. the main channel can move swiftly as well especially if the wind is going the same direction.
