Kayak fish of the Weeks Aug 8th-31st.
Fishing was pretty slow for the month of August in SE Florida. Some Cudas, small kings, occasional Little Tunny, and small football Blackfin. I have been carrying my GoPro 10 all year ready to capture some good slow-motion clips of Sailfish Jumping.
The above is an old still taken out of 4K/60 video. The Gp 10 can shoot 5.3K/60 and 4K/120! I finally landed a Sailfish this August, but the fish only jumped once before I had the camera on. Fortunately, I did have my dome attachment with me, so below are some alongside stills from the video. Free swimmer following the hooked fish. Unhooking alongside |

Thanks Mitch
Thanks Mark, Sailfish is a bucket list fish that draws kayak anglers to fish SE Florida. I will have to wait for the next one to hopefully get some better aerial shots. |
