la jolla suggestions

Hey im heading out to la jolla kelp tomorrow and was wondering if any of you guys have some suggestions. i've never fished the kelp this time of year in a yak

That's such a good write-up, I've read it several times before I made the drive down to LJ over the past years. After chatting with him and hearing he used the same reels I increased my sealine inventory from 2 to 5 I've only caught two fish off of iron and lost it on the second so I have no tramp stamped irons...just virgins.
