Fish ID please?
Caught like two dozen on these little guys today. They look like a weird Calico/Whitefish Hybrid

Yes drake has a yellowtail rockfish not a johnny bass or olive.....
This is an olive  Im surprised you got that one wrong jim...whats a matter wit you!

Yeah I'm still not completely convinced. Olives vary in color dark to light depending on where they are living just like Calico bass. You obviously wrestled that one right out of it's cave.

People often confuse them especially in pics taken underwater because the water color mutes out the specks but since it out of the water the specks would show, so if I had to guess I'd say that's an Olive Rockfish or Johny bass. Here's a good pic of a Yellowtail with it's specks.
