Dana Point or Newport for storage

I'm trying to decide where I should store my kayak. My car is not capable of transporting it back and forth, so I would like to dry dock it either in Dana Point or Newport. Which harbor do you think is best? I live in the middle of Dana and Newport.

inside harbor...newport...outside harbor, ive never fished Newport but from the reports it seems Dana produces more consistently with the kelp north and the pipe and surrounding areas south for halibut and what not. but like i said, never fished newport from the kayak.
