Sharks
Took the kaboat out today… actually been taking it out all week looking for critters. Figured out there’s Threshers around yesterday so got on the water early today, but not as early as I’d like, only to find them tailing and stuffing themselves on anchovies to the point nothing I threw at them was enticing enough.
First pic is one tailing in the distance. It’s blurry but I tried. They weren’t small either. I’ll be on the water before light tomorrow. Ended up finding a pelagic ray and some blue sharks. They really do make a mess. The one I ended up hooking wrapped up in the leader, downrigger cable, a random rope, pulled my fish finder cable loose and left it’s slime all over me. All hooks retrieved and everyone went on their merry way.

That Thresher tail does look big. Atleast you got some exercise reeling critters in. Good luck tomorrow!

Chris, that's really cool that you got a pelagic ray and blue shark in the same outing! And yeah that thresher looks big!
