Picked up my new Hobie Tuesday

Visited the Hobie warehouse in Oceanside for the first time Tuesday...

That's a bunch of Hobies...and there's a lot of fun waiting in those two boxes.

Set her up today and now she's ready for a fishfinder and a battery installation tomorrow...

Can't wait to get her wet, it looks so fishy!

Looks like you'll be covering alot of water and stability won't be a factor with those arms. Nice rig!

Jim,
Nice Looking ride! So, what is the hull speed for this boat? and I see the new advantage seat, so was there an improvement in design to reduce the amount of splash for the rider? Do you have to duck so the sail doesn't hit the top of your head?

Launching at Dana Point and fishing LaJolla might be doable with that.

"Its good to be the king!"

Nice ride.

Looks like fighting big fish may be a challenge.

Does it have a Mirage Drive too?

Hull Speed...? I don't think Hobie has hull speed listed in the specs.
The hull was made wider and it's higher for a drier ride.

Hey Andy...those rod holders are from Rail Blazer and are made for the Akas on the Islands. It's like having outriggers on a skiff.

She's getting wet tomorrow at the Sewer for her first run...we'll see how she does later at Hurricane Gulch.

Well, we know 'Stevooo' can do 8 knots without a sail, so... let us know what you get her up to
