50 Pound Club
50 Pound Club The "Clubs" pertain to yellowtail, halibut and white seabass. I will start a thread for 30, 40, 60 and this 50 pound Club. If you have been fortunate enough to reach this level, post em up! No certified scale necessary, post the photos, tell the story if you like. Inspire the rest of us. From 2005, a 50.65 lb yellowtail caught near Black's Beach on a mackerel, the
canyon area that is now inside the MLPA closure. Some Union Tribune reading from that great year for yellowtail - My fish: http://www.signonsandiego.com/sports...lz1s5fish.html Arne's fish: http://www.signonsandiego.com/uniont...z1s3kayak.html

Rick
Has anyone heard from Rick, last I heard he was south bound to Mexico, what an awesome guy to meet on the beach, weighed my largest YT at 39 lbs and was always a great guy to see on the beach. Never heard a negative word out of his mouth. That cow could not have been landed by a nicer guy.
