Malibu X-factor Bait Tank Only SKU: XFACTORTNK
Malibu X-factor Bait Tank Only SKU: XFACTORTNK This bait tank fits in the rear hatch of the X-Factor. Can be plumbed with either a bilge pump that hangs off the side of the kayak, or a bait pump that connects direclty to the bait tank and pulls water up through the rear scupper hole. The hatch cover is placed on top of the bait tank as a lid for the bait tank when in place. Can also be used as a cooler or extra storage. Bait tank only. No fittings are included. http://www.kayakfishingsupplies.com/...it-Tank/Detail So on the new 2010 model X-factor these two statements are False. The new 2010 model has a hinged hatch and the drop in bait tank does not go in all the way because the hinge hatch which opens blocks part of the bait tank from going in and I could not get my 2007 X-factor hatch to act as a lid on the bait tank. The lid doesn't fit. But I worked around it and just placed it right outside the rear hatch, its not like I was going to put it in there anyways. Last edited by wiredantz; 02-14-2011 at 08:08 AM. |

You might check with the various OEX stores to see if they can get you one of the old hatches. If they don't make them anymore, you might be able to salvage one from an old yak.
