Most places have the new electronic equipment in by now, so I'd bet you can buy them with no problem at this point in time.

Most stores however probably have them already.

That was easy (online), and should show up in the mail by the time I need it on Jan 1. If not here via snail mail, it can be printed out as a temporary license.

I would order mine but I have a slight feeling I may get it for Christmas, so I have to wait and see.
