Why not show where you live?
Curious why so many members of this forum don't show where they live by their avaitar/username. Seems to be a lot of guys wanting company to go out and fish or want to sell something, first question is "where are you" ?

If I post where I live everyone will drive by to see if they can get a glimpse of Candy in her boyshorts.
I never really thought of why I don't post it.......never thought of it as something important.

Why have to wait on a PM to maybe buy something or go fishing when if you already had some idea where they lived you may or may not pursue a fishing trip. I can't afford to make a 200 mile RT to fish or buy a rod or FF from someone. It's about time and economics. I.E, I'm looking to buy a used kayak and I have found some good deals here and else where but when you add in the time and expense to go chase it and bring it home it no longer makes sense a lot of the time. Small stuff can be shipped for a reasonable price but not everything! I don't see it being invasive, doesn't have to be specific. |

Biggest reason I can say why some keep their location unlisted or listed as somewhere crazy is because this is the internet and a public site. Even though we who attend this site for the fishing, and have no ill will intended toward our fellow fisher brothers and sisters, there are those who may try to hack the site to gain personal information about the people on here. I know it's a stretch to say that, but I encourage everyone to protect their personal information on the internet as much as you can.
