Palos Verdes?

So far I’ve only fished areas south of where I live. I'd like to mossy up north and expand my Verizon a bit so to speak. Does anyone have any advised on Palos Verdes and surrounding areas? Place to Launch? What to expect? Any advice would be helpful.

My PTO is set for friday if anyone wants to join!

We've fished the Point Fermin area, launched from Cabrillo Beach and went north just shy of White Point - Royal Palms beach. There are some pretty decent sized calicos in the kelp mixed in some some kind of two tone colored fish that has both eyes on top of its head, I'm not sure what its called

You shouldn't have an issue making bait, we've made Spanish maks, greenbacks, smelts and squirts. Start looking for bait balls as soon as you launch, we've had days when we've caught sardines about 100yards from the beach. Last thing, as soon as it starts blowing pay close attention to your surroundings, the kelp is pretty thick, there's also some boiler rocks, they're closer to shore but they can be hard to spot when It's choppy or high tide.

As Jorge said, you can launch from the beach side of Cabrillo to fish South PV. You can also launch at Terranea, but know where the mpa is. Or you can launch on the North side at Malaga Cove or Redono (king harbor). Redondo is a good paddle/peddle.
