WTB Decent working small baitcaster for Sabiki

I let my 10 year old Calcutta sit too long from last year's surf launch and forgot to service it and it was already on it's last leg to begin with! Took it apart this morning and it's TOAST. Oops...

Anyway, does anyone have something small, old and semi-saltwater resistant they wanna sell? You can post here or PM me with pics/price.

Thanks in advance.

You are in Lake Forest, Shimano is right there in Irvine. Take it in and see what they would charge to rebuild it. Doesn't hurt to ask and they are right there

Small baitcaster

Check with Wade. He was taking donation for reels that were donated on behalf of Rady's Children's Hospital. I saw a small bait-caster in the box of reels he had at the tournament this Saturday. He had two and I made a donation for one for my sibiki pole. It a Dawia millionaire 5H.

Thanks Sven. HP, I've taken stuff to them before that was WAY cleaner than what this old Calcutta was and they still said, no go. So I know for sure they'd laugh at this one.... besides, I already buried it in the backyard. Well written eulogy and all.

Uhmmm. I think he means you make a donation of say, oh, cash to Rady's Children's Hospital and Wade lets you have the reel. If he still has it, a way to help the children and get a reel for a good price.

I understood what he meant about Wade's fundraiser. The quote you quoted was in response to the suggestion of taking my reel to Shimano to have it repaired..
