Malibu Tuesday

Whats going on everybody. Me and a buddy are planning to head out to Malibu on Tuesday to fish the kelp beds and search for YT. If anyone is interested in meeting up, Message me or respond. We're no experts but we're learning the ropes.
Also, I recently saw the report of a Hammerhead attack on a kayaker. What tips or advice would you recommend, so this trip will be safe and fun? Maybe mention your encounters and the outcomes. Thank you! Tight lines!

Stow your fish after caught. Don't hang it in the water on a game clip. Stow your gear and teather it launching and landing. Check the surf report. Tuesday looks 3-5'. Unless your an experienced waterman you might want to wait for the swell to drop to 1-2.

Man, I was really looking foward to it. Whenever we can, it's dangerous haha looks like we might have to wait. Thanks

La Jolla is a way easier launch. I suggest taking all your Kayakfishing buddies over there to learn the ropes. There are so many experts out there it's easy. Just look for some people catching fish (La Jolla has a ton of big fish) just follow them around and learn the ropes. Lol
