Sculpin Ceviche.
Made ceviche with sculpin for the first time. Amazing! Soaked the diced fillets in lime and lemon for (4) hours, drained and served with freshly chopped onion, avocado, cilantro, grape tomatoes and salt and pepper to taste. Last edited by summers in kuwait; 03-23-2015 at 08:19 PM. |

Fish and Chips
Went Rock Fishing with Yanni on 5-20-2015. Tried out my Brand new 2015 Outback and Brand New HDS5 Fish Finder.
Well the fish finder found the rock fish at 146 feet, wide open Rock Fish Bite, Easy Limit. Here are the Big Guys ….. Tarter Sauce, make a few hours ahead of time to infuse all the flavors. Mayonaise Lime Juice Dried Dill Leaves Dill Relish Pepper Onion Powder Garlic Salt Blacken Fish Spice Beer Batter, the absolute best way to fry fish. I use a two step process, coat the filets first in the dry spice flour then dip in the wet egg, spiced flour, and freezing cold beer mix. Dry spice flour Flour Dried Dill Leaves Salt Pepper Powdered Onion Garlic Salt or Powder Blacken Fish Spice Wet mix One egg, beaten Small amount of the above dry spice flour Freezing Cold GOOD beer , add after the oil is screaming hot and you are read to dip as the mix will be light and foamy. Fry in very hot oil, turn, pat cooked fish with paper towels to remove extra oil. Chips I normally fry russet potatoes but my wife made wanted something different this night. Cut Red Potatoes Olive oil One Package Lipton Onion Soup Bake in oven For greenery, we added a Kale Salad. Super Yummy Dinner. Last edited by ctfphoto; 04-01-2015 at 06:44 PM. |

Ultimate Fish Sandwich
I used the rockfish in the above post to make a second meal.
Use the tarter sauce and beer batter recipe above for this sandwich. Add a fresh roll, slice of tomato, and lettuce, top with tarter sauce and enjoy the best fish sandwich that I have ever had. |
