DP Hooping tonight 3/17
Ok... so there is no swell, I bought a spare PFD for extra floatation, Gave my wife, the coast guard and the marine corps my grid coordinates for the night and two emergency contacts in case of my disappearance, and PROMISE to give my wife and daughter big hugs and kisses, should anything bad happen to me out there and I don't come back alive.
Ok, Looks like it's safe to go! Would love to meet anyone from the forum if you're out there tonight. I will be venturing north close to the kelp/point this time. Wave a hand if you are there.... the moon will be out in full so I won't have a hard time seeing you! |

My mistake. There were 5ft swells. Good times. Beautiful night. One bug. Dozens and dozens of shorts. They were crawlin' all night... I thin most of the legals have been caught this year. LOL Every one that was close was PAINFULLY close.
