Its about I got her out!

I was stoked this past Sunday cuz I finally got my yak out for the first time!
One thing I learned is it was a killer workout!! Could'nt move my arms the next day (felt like someone smashed my shoulder blades with a bat) no wonder you ol timers use foot pedals.
I was cruising around HB Harbor for the most part until I got comfortable....... then I paddled like a mother and put my bitch into full throttle to see how fast I can get her going and was I surprised on the how quick my Prowler15 is. While out there I met STEVE GREEN aka:landwhale who showed me where to go and offered some great advice (thanks ol timer) so next time Ill be heading to the bridge.

Theres still more I need to learn and even though I didnt catch crap I was Happy to get my girl out.....think ima name her PEACHES , Ill plan out my trip by gathering more intel on HB and NPH (maybe start working out on my arms so I can handle longer distances)...alright ladies, Peace!!!

Im an idiot, Title is suppose to say "ITS ABOUT TIME I GOT HER OUT"

Check out some of the paddling videos on Youtube, and the Kayak fishing videos. They can really help you avoid being in pain the next day. It sounds like you may have been paddling too much with your arms and not as much with your body. I was like that and now I use more of my body, believe me it will cut down on the pain you feel later or the next day. I agree with you though it's a great workout.

Welcome to the sport and hope to see you pulling fish over the rails soon.

Thanks Jimmy, I had a feeling I wasnt doing it right but you learn as you go so Ill get it down eventually. I didnt know what the hell I was doing at first ( kind of like getting laid for the first time)....eventually i was rocking it back and fourth to understand the limits of the kayak. next time I should just take the yak alone, flip it over and learn how to get back on it. Its like sex, eventually you break her in and once you get bored with it.....you'll want to get another one

Old Guys Rule

As for my Hobie. I can motivate, troll, eat, drink a beer and talk to my buds at the same time without stopping.

Jealousy is what come to mind.

Old Guys Rule!

P.S. Whats the legal age to be an "Ol Timer" ?
