Kayak Hauling Question
I need some hauling advice. I have a Fish n Dive (12'7") and want to carry it on my 93 Toyota pick-up. It will hang off the bed approx. 6' (4' with tailgate down). I can get a bed extender which will add another 4'. Does any one have any experience with this or alternative advice?
Thanx |

Bed extender should work fine. I have a F250 with the 6' bed, but I have a toolbox which takes up some of that 6'. So, probably less space than you . I use a bed extender with my 12' Outback and 13' Revo.
If you're loading just 1, then you can even load it a little bit diagonal Bed extender makes loading and unloading a snap, and if you need compact parking, you can take it off pretty easily and store it in the bed. I have a little red flag on a carabiner, so it's easy to put on and off when I'm transporting. |

I use what is called a bed extender on my Tundra for a Pro Angler, it works very well. Got it on eBay for $75. Very easy to set up and load/unload.

thule xsporter, ladder rack that plugs into the bed or a bed extender. I like the bed extender as I have a snug top, I rig up my yak the night before, load it and go.
