Long Beach Marina and LB wall banging.
Fished with Phatford and Chris (my bro). We had a blast searching the bay for whatever wants to bite. Mostly lizard fishes, an adolesent white seabass, and a couple calicos at the LB wall. There were a lot of bait, birds, and dolphins near Nachos. I should have filmed it...dolphins swimming around us. We left Phatford early. He was going to target halibut. Awesome day on the water.
LB sunrise my new computer background pic Phatford on his Hobie and Chris on Prowler. LB Marina wall Phatford The fog rolled in on us. |

Great meeting you guys! Thank you for showing me where to launch... What a great day on the water. Life was everywhere for sure.
After striking out at the wall I headed to the big holes at the oil islands and boated 3 short halibut and a two small calicos on the wall on the way back in. The halibut were caught bounce balling two on squid and one on brown bait and the bass were biting white plastic. |
