Limits Reds and Krill
The reds bit well on the regular spots today, 150 -170'. Tons of krill,
feeding birds and mackerel out there too. The current was absolutely ripping out of the north, it was an upwind, and upcurrent struggle just to get back in to Big Rock. Not much of an issue with the pedal drive though. Saw some other kayakers - way out there - battling the current to get back toward Shores (like 5 miles upcurrent?), just a word of warning if you are fishing tomorrow.

Nice!
What a difference a day makes. I was out yesterday, and granted im not real familiar with the "spots", but I came in empty handed. Out of 5 yaks on the beach, only 1 came back with any reds and they were pretty small. |
