Should I do anything with this?
I bought a few used (pretty much new) rods from a guy today. One he included is a 7 foot 12-30lb light / medium action Ugly Stik Tiger thats pretty much the newest of the three.
Should I use it for anything? I usually fish a lot heavier than that. |

Don't be too eager to "BEEF UP" for the BIG fish. That kind of a stick has many uses and may make some fishing more exciting. You ain't gonna be thumpin 40lb YT all year long, or maybe you will.

well it depends on if you have a fav rod yet, or if you need a certain set up, but the credit would #1 be fun, #2 get what you need, if you don't need the rod IMO...
