2011 WCW Jackpot
WCW Hiatus, so how about a little ongoing jackpot. The first 3 people to catch and document accordingly, a 20lb + halibut, 30lb + yellowtail or 40lb + white seabass, will win 50/30/20 payout. You must be entered prior to catching your fish.
Buy in is $20, only 1 fish per person will count, as in you can not win 1st, 2nd and 3rd, your biggest counts. Current jackpot ends with 3 persons posting. Payout wins by highest total points according to WCW standard. The fish weights above are all worth 40 points with an additional point for each pound over, no points added for artificials. Third person to post, not catch, will complete the jackpot and we will start it over again with another buy in. WCW rules apply. Photo of you and fish and a tape shot. You must use a reliable scale, post your weight, but no scale shot is required. You have to stand the scrutiny of your tape shot. Use Paypal link below to enter, list of who is competing will be updated periodically. Post your catch in the Reports section. Any Questions? List of Entries: 1. Wade 2. Lamb 3. Iceman 4. James Choi 5. Joe Beck 6. Dgax 7. Baja760 8. THE DARKHORSE 9. Nam Vu 10. Deepdvr 11. Jorge Villegas 12. I would expect people to wait to enter just prior to going fishing, so we should see people jump aboard this weekend. I would not want to throw my $20 in and get beat before I even wet a line.......It could take some time for 3 subs the way fishing has been.

Bump!
OK some further clarification this is a jackpot, you are not going for the SLAM you are trying to catch the biggest fish..........actually the highest points fish. Example: Moe catches a 45 pound YT worth 55 points 2nd Shemp catches a 45 pound WSB worth 45 points 3rd Curly catches a 45 pound halibut worth 65 points 1st After there are 3 people to submit, winners get the pot and we will start a new entry via Paypal Hope this is sufficient clarification.............now STEP UP and git sum!

Hmmm...
I'm sure everyone has the same idea: wait for the roster to build up and pounce! Maybe that's just me?
Honestly, I'm a bit surprised more guys haven't entered this. It's not like you have to put together a years worth of fish. One fish and you're in the money; how easy is that? And for the guys who target Halibut, I would think, season wise anyway---right now you have a huge advantage. It's February for Pete's Sake! Simply put, if you plan to go fishing in the near future it doesn't really make sense not to enter. Every dog has his day! And to put my money where my mouth is, so to speak, I'll donate some cash to the guys with a huge advantage (Halibut fisherman). Lets play!
