That's bad a$$ on so many levels, but I have a terrible feeling we'll be doing that here soon, too.
Until that day, though---I'll stick with fishing the iron!

I had the same terrible feeling too, but we might not even be that lucky. At the last MLPA meeting in Santa Barbara a knucklehead enviro got up and spoke about the urgent need to stop all the fish feeding by tourists at Catalina. "It's just not natural or good for the fish to depend on humans for hand-outs!"
