finally got a yak

ive been bugging my fiancee about getting a yak since last year. and finally on my date of birth she got me one. ive fished for many years but never fished from a yak. lots of flying fish in my stomach. haha

im totally stoked to get out on the water with the yak, ive been on plenty of boats, ferrys, sportboats, bass boats, skiffs, row boats, and pangas. never been on a yak. i plan to go to out and flip the thing a few times to test the stability of this thing.

ive gone thru the site and i have picked up many good pointers from everyones posts. thanks, and i hope to get to some yak fishing in asap.

Hobies are for us old farts that have no upper body muscle mass. Guys with bad shoulders, no pecks, bad backs get Hobies.

Congrats. See you out there.

That's the same one I just bought a few weeks back.
Should serve you well.
Congrats, and welcome to the addiction.
