Go Pro

JUst picked up a new GoPro HD Hero for an upcoming trip. What an improvement they have made to this camera. Better battery setup, on/off beeping that you can hear easily, multiple settings for the type of filming you will be doing, ability to use a larger memory card, HD TV hookup, better backing for better sound when you are not using near water.....and same price if I remember right....check it out.....my other two are somewhere off La Jolla

I just checked it out on E-Bay and it was going for as low as $200 -market value was $269.Went to the product web site and it looks like it shoots some real quility footage .Has a deck mount and everything . It looks like the surf model is the way to go .I know where my extra money is going this week .Thanks for the heads up on this camera

They recently released a downloadable firmware update for current HD owners. It improved the functionality of the camera and definitely makes it easier to use while fishing off my kayak.

I have the chest harness, but I am looking into seeing how to mount it on a pole so I can take underwater shots while fishing or place behind my seat for better video capture while fighting a fish.

I didn't shop around and picked it up at the Path Bike Shop in Tustin as I was getting my MTB worked on for 299.00

this is the Contour HD 1080 with the waterhousing:
