8/25 day 2 on kayak at LJ

Got me a yellowtail on 14lb test Abu Garcia bait caster. She came in #20 class . she bit on swim baits .


if you look closely the ft is on other side of its mouth.

Cool! Light action is the way to go. My buddy hit a Black Seabass a few weeks ago on an Abu Garcia as well. BSB took him on a sleyride for at least 15 - 20 minutes before it finally surfaced. Other than a huge batray and a Thresher that I lost I haven't landed anything in three trips to LJ....I'm sure its just a matter of time.
