Jake,
First of all don't tell anyone where your from! But now that your here in CA, welcome brother! First your gonna need a pole with a line winder. (fyi in CA we call it a rod & reel) next you will need to get some bait. Berlkely blood worms -Carolina rigged seems to go good in the surf. Awe, screw it... I would find these two local expert surf / kayak fisherman guys who go by T-man and Boz. Buy them lunch and a few cerveza's and your life will be much better. These are two fantastic local fisherman...If anyone can put you on fish from the surf these two can! (If your worthly?) Second, get a kayak ASAP and contact Hook1 for the goodies. Big fish are only a paddle away Good luck, cabojohn PS - Didn't Tommy Lee from Motley Crue go to school in Ohio? |
