Marine Life Protection Act MLPA
I was looking at a post off of Cardiff and one guy mentioned the MLPA and stated it would be closed soon. I am a late comer to yak fishing world so can some one explaine the MLPA and how it effects yak fishing in LJ? and else where?

The map, as it stands right now will close the area from Windansea in La Jolla to PB pier.
Another area from Scripps pier to one mile north will be closed to everything but bait. This app lets you check out the maps. Click on the button that says: MPAs, Arrays, and Proposals The current likely map that will go through is the: MLPA Integrated Preferred Alternative http://southcoast.marinemap.org/marinemap/ |
