Business as Usual
My brother hasn't fished LJ since September and I gave him 3 used Saltist reels to better his chances as I just purchased new ones. The reels were rebuilt and 2 were loaded with Power Pro / Spectra combo and the 3rd with fresh 40lb P-line (green).
All I can say is Todd launched at 5:30 am and was on beach by 9:00 am with close to 100lbs of fish. 50-55lb WSB and a 40LB plus Yellow. All on flylined greenbacks and a #2 Gamo. Both fish were caught on the 40lb rig. Not bad for the first trip of the year... I am so f'n jealous - pictures to follow latter. Last edited by WCW Moderator; 06-15-2010 at 01:49 PM.
