1/16&17/2010
My sleep is so messed up from last nights hooping, I cant get back to my normal schedule, bored @ 3 am now...so heres the bug report..
Launched 3pm Jan 16th @ Shores Landed 3am Jan 17th @ Shores Went out for the afternoon with the man Deepdvr & for hoopin South LJ.. Nothing to show for the ..."YET" that is Mr. Ghost... Thought we would have similar conditions or smaller this nights plan..Wrong!..It was cranking late night!! Paddled an hour or so south to the new grounds sans jetties..Had to stay further west this time around..thankfully the depths & structure was similar, if not better!.. Fat Furbags left us alone this time, but that damn ghetto bird sure didnt.. Re: http://www.cbs8.com/global/story.asp?s=11833854 I honestly believe that bastard added an additional 1-2 hours from his search light bs..He hovered right on TOP of of us illuminating everything in site circling us with what seemed like a good thirty minutes..then he would shine on each buoy forever?!?.. I tried to quickly remember from my flight school, the proper aviation hand signals to instruct him properly out of the general vicinity.. Was it one of these?.. No, it was more like the last one below.. On our hour paddle north way, around the condo we both had taken notice to a truck shining his lights on us intently as we came around the corner.. F&G soon I felt..sure was..No tickets written, and he wasn't happy about that?!.. / Wade / Deepdvr Before.. After.. |

Nice of 'em to provide you guys some light to work by!
They were likely looking for floaters from the previous night's boat capsizing full of illegals. Our precious tax dollars helping those in need. Good work out there! You fellas must have been rained on a bit, no? Those plates would look at home in Mexico. Well done. Willy |

I know.. I had a bunch of stuff to do this weekend. I was able to get out and fish yesterday though. Baytubers had a competition yesterday at DP.. I found out about it when I got back to shore, and saw all of the bbq'ing and drinking beer. |
