Out Fished: 3 to 1
Although I was totally out fished, I had
my best day at La Jolla thanks to this man and Don Habenero. The three of us saw, another kayaker, PBers, the Dolphin and Seaforth dance all around us. While remaining clueless as to what was going on! Here's my catch. And, Josh's total? You do the math... |

Got Mojo?
Its an interesting feeling you get when you've just spent the day on the water with no target fish in the boat, you get home and log in and see this. A combination of frustration, determination and a little being happy for you guys.
Okay, I'm really happy for you. Congratulations. But I'll also admit that the first word out of my mouth when I saw the pictures was an f bomb. Long and loud. 2+3x2 ?!? We were at the launch at the same time, but I guess I left my mojo at home, because my results were not even close to yours. I did get several Bonito and had a nice day on the water. You guys had the mojo and a large amount of skill too I guess. But I'll settle for one out of two. Anybody got some mojo to spare? I sure want one of those big yellows! I'll be on it again tomorrow at the same time because the one thing I do have is determination. Tom |

Caught All I Wanted Today At LJ
Waves that is.
Chest high shoulders. The water temp dropped by several degrees in the last couple of days. Hope the yellows stick around long enough to get another one. Fishing tomorrow amd I'm staying out till I get one. I guess we'll all be there. |

his skin would be like RED beef jerky if not for the protection of the waders... not sure any of us human's legs could withstand 12 hours of direct sun in southern CA in the middle of the summer... of course...then again...when it comes to fishing... Josh is not human...he's a fishing machine... |

Hey
Yani good to meet and fish with you on Wed, unfortunately I had to leave when it was starting to look very fishy.
I had a few dogs with me on the way in so hopefully I took some heat of you guys. No fish for me though, I need to rememebr that farming is best done on land and not the water Best |
