Swim baits would also be a good bet. 1 or 2 oz lead heads.

Going South James ?

I got YFT on the yak last year trolling what looks like a fly fishing feather plastic head. I got this lure in a tourney grab bag. It's a light weight feather with a 60# learder and a single hook. I put a 1ounce egg sinker and trolled it the 25 bank La Bocana last winter, they YFT hammered it every drop back. Good luck.

X Rap Magnums in the 4 3/4" size troll very well at 3 knots. They have a nice blue sardine pattern & the bonito pattern has produced yft as well. I'd suggest removing the front hook to avoid any mishaps.
