There are many ways to win a free charter in 2009: First tuna* landed from a kayak – that charter is free. First legal white sea bass caught from a kayak – that charter is free. Largest yellowtail caught in 2009 – win a free charter for 2010. All fish must be caught during paid charters. * Tuna must be albacore, bluefin, yellowfin, or big eye. It looks like you got the process of deploying the kayak from your skiff down. Are those rodholder racks custom made, or can be picked up on the market? THANKS FOR SUPPORTING BWE!!!! |

Kayak Brackets
I'm proud to contribute to BWE as an advertiser, and thanks for your support of FDC.
The kayak brackets are custom. I've never seen any for sale. If anyone is interested in designing or fabricating for their boat, pls PM me and I'll be happy to share my experiences so far. |

trip limits
Dave,
Thanks for the encouraging words. RE: your question about trip limits... I routinely run to banks 30 miles out. Will run a bit further to hit a temp break, but usually don't go much beyond the banks near 30 mile mark. Luckily, we have a lot of great fishing near SD within that range. Last year, the tuna and dorado were even inside the 9 mile banks. If you have a special trip in mind, feel free to PM me. If it's reasonable, I'll do my best to accomodate. Jim |
