Carlsbad Perching.
Spent the day at the beach with the family last weekend. ...groomed windswell early and when the tide bottomed, we found a sweet hole where you could make a 20 foot cast from ankle high water and it was all you could catch perch. Perfect for getting the 3 year old hooked up on the noodle rod.

Way to go Dan-o...just wait until he hooks into a corbina.
And a little known fact...catch the bigger slabs, great for fish tacos.. the Fishcatcher and I have them all the time when the sandcrabs come out.

Kids fishing!
Looks like a great time! I think I will take the trailer out for a 3 day trip and let the girls get thier feet wet!
