La Jolla 3/10
Launched into a nice little surf, only one other guy launching as we were. Paddled out to the 100 foot mark and soaked squid all morning for 1 little sand dab, caught some small green backs and tried one on the bottom and one fly lined all for a big zero. Out past the point the water was full of green backs no fish under them. in at noon.
oh where you Mr sea bass?? |

I took a pair of greenbacks for the hi/low tour along the kelp edge focusing from the half to the 3/4...nada, uphill current not helping.
I marked 57 degrees at times. and shifty chilly breeze. army green water, better out by the bull kelp but still pretty green. |
