Goin' Hoopin'? Don't forget your REPORT CARD!
If you plan on hoop netting for Lobster this season, Don't forget to buy a new Lobster Report card!
Everyone must have one...including kids under 16. Don't forget to bring your fishing license. The number must be recorded on the card and the DFG's stub. Kids under 16 just have to have their address and name on the card!!! Be safe and please respect the resource! Full nets to all of you!!! Good Luck this season! Jim / Saba Slayer |

question Jim...........if you know where you are going to be hooping, can you fill out the area before getting on the yak? I got a report card and it looks like it will have problems with getting wet. I thought it might be easier to fill out the location first and then add the catch on the water. I want as little contact with the card as evreything gets wet when hoopin from the yak.

Yes- If you know where you are going to be dropping hoop nets for lobsters, you can prefill out your report card. The locations are broken down into regions, so all you have to do is fish the location code entered. I myself am planning on filling mine out at home, so all I have to do is enter in the number of legals (7) hopefully I take home.

fill it out
That's it, fill it out before launching, then you only have one number to fill in ...the number 7.
