2024 Regs
BUMMER.
The new 2024 Rockfish Regs are now being enforced. The biggest difference this year is the reduction in Reds from 4 to 2 in possession and a descending device. From what I'm hearing and what I've read, you must have a descending device readily available for releasing fish. Not just on the kayak or in your kit, but rigged and ready to go. Good Luck

Isn't there some additional depth restrictions? I read that there would be different times that we would be allowed certain depths.

Went out today and limited on Reds in the first few drops. Limit of 2 is a huge bummer, especially when that's all that seems to want to eat what I'm dropping.

Just finished watching a video clip on Instagram
The guy was pulling in a floating line with what looked about 10 nice size reds in la Jolla.
How many are you aloud on a single line. Last time I went I only used 2 jig hooks
