2 for 4 trout report LJ

Launched at dark30, my most exciting part of the day. I calm down after 2 jigs out and graph on. Right now nothing gets my adrenaline going more than that, being single. I was inline when a ranger came up to talk to me and wondering why I was inline, he thought I wanted to be first. Part of that is right but the real reason is my hookup is truck and trailer are in to different locations and I cannot hookup in the dark.
Being said he told me that they just stocked today
Bummer trout not accumulated yet, oh well.
It's first light I launch and start trolling graph showing alot of fish.
I like to bait fish early than troll when the sun comes up.
I stopped next to the buoy line for my first trout after a 1/2 hour or so on salmon peach in corn 🌽 dip power bait I like to dip lures to. It helps recharge your power bait cheese. I was in 30 something ft of water. The guy next to me got his limit did not move all day we were both close to the cactus patch. One thing I know about trout what works one time my not work again. After an hour or so I decided to move from the buoy line I did not want to anchor up. So I slow trolled on and off with the trolling motor, pulling a night crawler on a slow death worm hook and the salmon peach on the other. No takers. As I think back I have only caught trout one time moving the power bait. And we got limits trolling in a circle above the school, that only happened one time in my life. If there is such a thing as wide open trout fishing it was happening. This report will continue I don't have time to finish it now.

Water temp was 60?

I started trolling with the same kalin 1/16 oz grub
White with alittle yellow stripe that was red hot the weeks before. Had it on leadcore line out 4 or 5 colors out on the line. Graph was showing fish at 20 to 30 ft.
On the surface pole I had my flasher with the Thomas Boyant.Trolled about a hour for nothing. So I changed it up. My first hookup came on a Tasmanian devil on the leadcore. The line holds them down from jumping. I had out 50 to 75 yds of line maybe just guessing. The fun part comes when you get past the leadcore to your mono leader 15ft and the wt comes off the trout and it explodes on you at the net....and say see ya..first lost.
My flasher was not working so I took it off and just used the Thomas Boyant on a ultra light spinning reel. It did not get bit all day.
In the middle of the lake was a boat load of know how
Moving around very slowly, 6 lures flying in all directions
Like a sport boat dumping bait in the water the trout started to boil. So I headed towards a boil to their right keeping a respectful distance and slide my leadcore under them for my second trout on leadcore Tasmanian devil. And the forth trout shook off after the leadcore.
Going to bake these two trout or BBQ and yes they are earthy tasting. Peace ✌️ ☮️ out.

Also I'm going to change....

My treble hooks out for a single hook, on the Tasmanian devil, because they are shaking off the 8 or 10 treble hooks
And see if that works better.

I'm about 20 or 30 ft....

From the buoy ball in the middle of the lake.
It kind of give me a idea how far sideways my hook 5 is working I'm happy with it.
