I haven't fished Hodges in years. Do you need an inspection sticker for your kayak before launching? Thanks

Reading their website I didn't see any mention of it but I've never fished there before. Should be really good I bet after being closed for a year. Definitely gonna go check it out soon

Lake Hodges
I've been away from the kayak scene for quite some time. Recently acquired new yak (Lifetime Tamarack Pro), mostly because I got a good deal ($299 at Wally World). I had not been on the water since I capsized in open ocean a few years back (off Camp Pendleton). It was mid February and I nearly got hypothermia, but was rescued by power boat coming out of Oceanside. In any event, I live a couple miles from Lake Hodges and am wanting to drive over and check things out regarding, inspections, fees, times, e.t.c..
I have not put a motor on yet, but will probably go with a water snake 24 , meanwhile acquiring essentials a bit at at time when finances are available. FWIW, I had to re-register here as I had forgotten all my creds. |
