Kaui and Kona 'yak fishing?
Alas, I have to attend back-to-back week long conferences in Hawaii at the end of this month - one in Poipu (Kauai) and one in Kona (Big Island). the worst part of it is that the work will probably leave me with some free time and nothing to do but sit in my hotel room and work...
Unless I can find a way to get out and do some kayak fishing! Can anyone recommend either a fully-equipped guide service or some other way to get on the water in either Kona or Poipu? I won't planning to bring anything except for my bathing suit... Alternatively, does anyone have recommendations where I might lay my hands on a surf 'yak for a couple days and a recommendation on a place to use it where I won't get killed by locals (two legged or sharp-toothed, finned variety...) Thanks in advance, Brent |

Cool - thanks. I just shot an email to them asking about guiding on the Big Island and Kauai.
