RIP ROSSMAN
Damn, sad to see no posts or condolences for Rossman on this forum.. Staple in the San Diego/Baja fishing community without a doubt.. World learned of his passing Tuesday; appearantly severe complications due to the flu, he passed at a hospital in La Paz.. I kept in touch with him on facebook over the years as he and mako bob taught me most if not everything i know Baja.. Great soul, he's for sure chilling with Niko now just wanted to spread the love as much as I could as he and Mako taught me.. When i cross the bridge myself I have no doubt him and many others will show me the ways on the other side of town
RIP Rossman fish on in paradise!! -Stevie

😔 Sad news to me....
Rossman was precious and very generous in Asuncion.
Thanks for posting, I was unaware.

I just saw this post. Thank you for letting us know.
Sorry to hear about Rossman's passing. As the Turks would say, "may he rest in light". I met him in Baja and found him a gentle soul. |

I never met him, but have a great deal of respect for someone who retires and moves to Mexico to live the life I dream of. There is a picture of him on here with a huge beautifully striped WSB--I always liked that shot.

Is Rossman wearing a black hat, sitting to the right of late Bob? |

Another one of the best is gone
I was shocked about his passing last Tuesday but reserved BWE acknowledgment for a member who knew him personally. Having read all of Rossman's fish reports, I have vicariously enjoyed Bahia Ascencion and fantasized about going down there one day to meet him in person. Many less participatory members have written very nice comments about Ross on other forms of social media. At least one forum member got to fish with Ross just before he fell ill. The man was living the dream. Tight lines on the other side. RIP Rossman.
