I didn't even have to fish the bay

Struck out on big fish today, ran to the flats to look for halibut. Caught this guy



Anyone else ever catch a spottie in LJ . I was bouncing open water.

That is the first I ever heard of one of those guys outside the bay.

I wonder if someone decided to torture the poor critter. Caught him in the bay, put him in a boat livewell and released him in LJ for laughs.

If he was over 12" I would have kept it to keep them from reproducing and infesting LJ.
