Looking for a clever name for a vessel that's in between a kayak and skiff
i guess what i was thinking about something like a solo skiff kinda boat. Its weird calling it a skiff but it's not a kayak either. motorized kayak? so i figured to ask for some help in coming up with a in between category

I call my Kaboat (kayak boat) a BoYak (boat kayak).
A solo skiff is just an ultra light skiff. I wish they made them 15-16ft with a little more capacity.

Using different combinations of the two words, Kayak-Skiff
Skyak Kayiff Skiyak Skayaff Skayiff Skayakiff Short and simple is easy, so I like Socal Beach Bums first suggestion |

capacity as load capacity? For me when i had the PA14 was a beast that was borderline overkill. I loved the 12 for what i did that was sweet spot. Kaboat is not bad might go with the shorten version K-boat

the Kiff
It's less than a skiff (the removed S) but still partly a kayak (the K) |

You could try something like "skayak" or "motokayak"—kind of a hybrid between a skiff and a kayak. I’ve seen people blend terms like that when their boats don't quite fit into one category, and it just makes sense for something like a motorized kayak that’s more skiff-like.
