Looking for a 3wt Reel with some Character
I just bought a 3wt Orvis superfine glass. at 7'6" it is the lightest most accurate rod i think i have ever case. I had a Battenkill 3/4 on it, enjoyed it but it has sadly disappeared. So, I need a replacement. I looked at the Hardy Featherweight and it is GORGEOUS. Does anyone have any experience with these kinds of reels, or perhaps a recommendation for a little glass 3wt rod. Thank you in advance. DS

I have a Galvan Brookie on my 4wt. Super simple and light reel which is fantastic for the kind of fishing where you aren’t going to fight a big fish on the reel for a long time. Caught a 20” cutbow on the Eagle last week!

I've got 2 hardy demon cassette reels and they're at least 10 years old and are still as smooth as day one. I'd say a hardy will likely serve you well based on my experience.
