Garmin striker plus 4 user info please
What is their dual beam transducer frequency? I can’t seem to find the answer on the ‘net. I’d appreciate if you can help. And does this unit adequate for deeper ocean water?
Thank you in advance! 45 |

Someone can correct me but I believe it has 77 kHz which is ideal for deeper water.

I wasn’t sure if that’s low enough frequency. Is there a much of a difference between 50 kHz and 77khz? Thank you Chris! 45 |

why is the lower frequency better for deeper water? It seems to me that at 200' you would get a better image of the bottom with the higher frequency. What am I not understanding?

Just wanted to hear from actual user who used it in the ocean to see if 77khz was adequate for ocean. It a eems mid chirp or 77-83khz is adequate from what I’ve been reading up and searching from the web. 45 |
