WFO Mackeral bite
6/10 am, It was all I could handle! Get out there for some of this action!
The most incredible bite by "hog" mackeral. I think they were spawning maybe!! Nothing for me this morning, conditions looked very favorable only the mackeral showed. |

Thanks for the report. The thickest school of toad greenies I have seen in a long while. Just look down and you could see them side by side (pushing, rolling, etc.). Took out the cripple herring, for some maczilla action. Nothing else.

Yah, this morning was a bust for me also. Looked around for hali's and t-sharks. Water north was dirty and cold.

PM had less bait, no fish, and cold water ~61 -62. Nice to be OTW though.

Mackerel roe is tasty, raw, fried, steamed, or microwaved.
