Channel Islands after work
I plan on hitting CIH after work tomorrow. Will take my trolling motor and see if the wind has not picked up too bad to shoot for Hueneme canyon, if not just tool around the break wall. Will probably be at the launch at 4:30-4:45. Do I bring my bait tank or just wing it is the question.

I might be there as well, blue ram 1500 parked next to the CG building. PA14 with an ugly dude out there somewhere.
The winds show 8+ in your face on the way back from Hueneme, thank goodness for trolling motors. We’re forecasted 40% thunderstorms until 2. It should be interesting. If I don’t go to Hueneme, I might head north and ride the wind and swell back. PM if you want to meet up. Lance Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Well it was a little too windy when I got out to the breakwall to head for Hueneme alone so fished the breakwall for a while. Got some smalls with one really good hit taking line but did not get a hook set. Went into the harbor and met up with Beer Me and fished in there until about 8. Got a few small Calicos and macs and had a good time.

Where is the CG station, I just picked up a PA 12 and so far been launching from the boat ramp on Victoria but that's a long paddle to get out to the breakwater.

Hey Cronus,
Ok I think saw it when I was giving the pa12 a shake down. Its like a small steep ramp. Can you actually back a trailer down there or is it unload and carry. I have my PA12 on a kayak trailer. Thanks |
