Agua hedionda
Launched at 6:40 before the Carlsbad gustapo showed up to harass us about permits to us the lagoon. Had a kayak scoop from oceanside harbor. My buddy couldn't keep them off his line probably 8-9 fish 4 of which were halibut 1 legal. I pulled 2 smooth hounds out and got broken off by Fished until 3.

Very nice! I’ve wondered how that lagoon was for fishing.

So did you have a permit to use the lagoon for fishing? I didn't know you needed a permit other than a fishing license.

Wow. That kinda sucks. I wonder if that same applies to a float tube although the tide change would be a major pain in a tube there.
